About Play Golf Houston

Play Golf Houston, officially recognized in February 2004, is a marketing alliance comprised of Houston-area golf facilities.  As a non profit, member-based association, Play Golf Houston is governed by a Board of Directors who provide the vision and objectives for this diverse group of golf properties.

The PGH mission is to raise the awareness of the national golfing public, to the wealth of golf opportunities that exist in Houston, Texas. All Play Golf Houston member courses, in joining this marketing consortium, are unified in their effort to serve the needs of visiting golfers.

Play Golf Houston recognizes and promotes the attributes that make Houston a top golf destination: a wonderfully moderate climate, a remarkable assortment of quality courses, affordable golf packages and excellent tee time availability. From Scottish-inspired golf links to layouts with towering pines and dramatic elevation changes, one must only venture within a 40-mile radius to play and enjoy a fabulous selection of courses.  

As the official golf marketing partner of the Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau, Play Golf Houston fulfills the needs of convention attendees, international visitors and traveling Texans, by providing information about all the best courses to play in Houston.
